wake up now reviews

I choose to review Wake Up Now because it has become one of the hottest network marketing companies. Does hot mean a good company to join or not?

If you are thinking about joining Wake Up Now, you should read as many Wake Up Now reviews as you can find. Be sure that the reviews that you read are not written by current members of the Wake Up Now opportunity. They are just there to try to recruit you into the business and may not give you an unbiased review.

My review of Wake Up Now will be an independent review. I am not now, nor have I ever been a distributor of Wake Up Now products or the business opportunity.

Whether you are thinking of joining Wake Up Now or any other network marketing company, I would urge you to do your own due diligence. People frequently lose money while trying to build any network marketing company.

Wake Up Now reviews – the company and its history

wake up now reviews and it's history

Wake Up Now was founded in 2009, by Troy Muhlestein. The current officers of the company are as follows, Jason Elrod, Kirby Cochran and Phil Polich. Mr. Elrod is currently the President of the company. Mr. Cochran is the CEO and Mr. Polich is the COO.

The company’s headquarters are located in Provo, Utah.

Wake Up Now has been in business for nearly 5 years. I like to see a network marketing company that has reached their 5th anniversary, in business, as most MLM companies that fail will do so in their first 5 years.

You need to read further, to get the whole picture, though.

Wake Up Now reviews and their Better Business Bureau rating

I checked for Wake Up Now on the Better Business Bureau’s website. What was Wake Up Now BBB Rating? Wake Up Now has a low rating of just a “C.” If I were going to join a network marketing company, I’d want the rating to be at least an “A.”

Keep in mind that this rating is derived from the complaints that the company gets and how well they are able to resolve these problems.

If you would like to read the BBB report, you can find it here. Wake Up Now on the BBB.

Wake Up Now reviews – their products

wake up now reviews and their products

The company has a very eclectic group of products. I’m not sure, but their energy drinks, called Awaken, may have been their first product. That might explain the company name. Besides the energy drinks, they offer discounts on products and services that you can buy from other companies and websites.

There is a vacation club. This allows you to get a discount on your vacations. This includes hotels, timeshares and cruises.

You can also get access to their Taxbot. This is tax preparation software. It also can track your business mileages with GPS. It can store your receipts, by taking a picture of them with your cell phone. Thereby, eliminating much of the paperwork associated with doing your taxes for your business. All of you data is stored in “the cloud.”

They offer identity theft protection. This is provided by a company called, Invisus.

Wake Up Now also offers language learning, grocery discounts as well as discounts at over 2100 national retailers like, Office Depot, AT&T and Hertz rent a car.

I usually like to include a link to Amazon.com, so you can find a sample of the company’s products, but

no one is selling the energy drinks on Amazon, at the moment. The rest of the products are only available directly through the company.

Wake Up Now reviews – if you join

thinking about joining read many wake up now reviews

If you decide to join the company there is a $99.00 sign up fee. Then there are 3 levels of participation after that. The lowest has a cost of $49.95 per month and the highest has a monthly cost of $99.95 per month.

The difference being the services that you can use. The highest level of participation gives you access to all of the services that Wake Up Now offers.

Wake Up Now reviews – Wake Up Now Compensation Plan

Wake Up Now is using a 2×15 Forced Matrix plan. There are a total of 14 levels in Wake Up Now’s compensation plan. You start as an IBO, Independent Business Owner. The highest level that you can achieve is called, Diamond.

I found a video that explains the compensation plan. It is less than 6 minutes long.

Wake Up Now reviews – their income disclosure statement

To their credit, they do have their income disclosure statement (IDS) prominently displayed on their website. It is in PDF form. You find it here. Wake Up Now Income Disclosure Statement.

There are several things that I notice, right away, on their IDS. If you total up the percentages of distributors in the first 3 levels, that is from “IBO” to “Director 2,” there are 82%. None of those 82% of distributors make any money at all. In fact, if you count the amount of money that they spend to be a part of the company they are losing money each month.

wake up now reviews show bad things

I also noticed that the top levels of the compensation plan only have 1 person at each level. You can tell this by looking at the “Low” monthly income and the “High” monthly income. They are the same. This indicates that there is only 1 person at those levels.

The level called, Director 3, it shows that 14% of distributors are at that level. Those people are at break even. Their income is equal to the costs to be part of the company. Remember there is an ongoing fee of up to $99.95.

The last thing that stands out on their IDS is if you add up the percentages of people in all of the lower levels it totals 100%. From level “IBO” to Founder 3 there are 100% of the people. This doesn’t leave too many to be in the top 9 levels.

Wake Up Now reviews – is this the right company for you?

You will have to make up your own mind about that. There are several things about this company that concern me. The fact that it has an ongoing, monthly fee is one. You might say that this is equivalent to another company’s autoship. I would say that you are right about that, but autoship is a big concern to me too. Autoship and monthly fees take money out of your pocket. That is money that could’ve been spent on education, advertising and marketing,

The company’s Income Disclosure Statement is a concern, as well. Not just the fact that very few people are making any money with the company. It’s the fact that there are so few people who have reached the top levels. That’s the biggest concern, for me. Who will be the leaders for the company? Who will be there to help you to achieve success?

Wake Up Now has been in business nearly 5 years. That’s a plus.

this wake up now reviews shows that the BBB gave them a C

The BBB rates them very low, though. A rating of “C” is not very good. A “C” might have been passing in school, but this is business!

As always, if you are thinking about joining this company, do your own due diligence.

The person who sponsors you is just as critical to your success as the information that is contained in this Wake Up Now review.

In the end, you must be willing to sell the product and recruit people into the business. It helps, a lot, if you are enthusiastic about, both, the company and the product!

I am wishing you the best of luck in your network marketing journey!
