Some how you’ve found your way onto my blog. Congratulations! If you are here, reading this article, then I know a couple of things about you. Don’t worry. I’m not with any of the alphabet agencies. I’m just a follow network marketer, like you.


If you are own my blog, you are 1 of 2 kinds of people. You are either in a network marketing company or you are thinking about joining a network marketing company, soon.

If you are already in a network marketing company, then you are 1 of 3 kinds of people. You might be a product buyer. That’s someone who joined their company to get a discount on the products. I don’t think that you are one of those. That kind of network marketer is probably not reading articles about the business. You could be a person who joined to make an extra income. That would be someone who isn’t sure that they want to put in the time an effort to build a 6 figure income. If they can make $500.00 per month they would be just as happy! Then there are the people who saw the compensation plan and had dollar signs in their eyes. They want to make it to the big time. They want fame and fortune and they want it now!


If you fall into either of the last to categories, then I know something else about you.


There is a 98% chance that you are a frustrated network marketer. You are either losing money or just breaking even. You want to hold onto the dream, but you aren’t sure how much longer you’ll be able to last. You want someone to really help you, but you can’t find anyone. You probably read a lot of blogs trying to find “the secret” to making money in network marketing.


Cheer up! There is no secret out there. You can stop looking!

If you have been looking for the secret to success in network marketing, I know one more thing about you. You have a 75% chance of quitting the business in the next 90 days. Hmm … that’s scary!


By now, you have to be wondering why you are reading this article. The good news is that I am here to help you end your frustration.


If you happen to be in that 75% who will quit the business, I’d like to offer an alternative. How can you tell if you are in that 75%? You can’t, but what’s the #1 reason why people quit network marketing? The answer is … not making any money. If you aren’t making any money, then assume that you’re in there and follow these simple instructions.


I don’t guarantee that this will work for you. A lot of it depends on you and how you present yourself and your company’s products to people, but it will give you a fighting chance to get yourself out of that 98% of people who never make any money and that will get you out of that 75% of people who will quit in the next 90 days. Let’s get to work!


Memory jogger


Those 2 words make me cringe. Most sponsors tell you to make out a list of people that you know and then try to recruit them. This is why 98% of people don’t make any money and why they will probably quit within 90 days.


Your mission, if you decide to take it, is to …


Day 1 to Day 90


I want you take take your filled out memory jogger or you can make one, now. Divide it into 4 columns. The categories are Family, Friends, Neighbors and Co-workers. I want you to fill in everyone you know into one of those columns. Starting at the top of each column, fill in the name and phone numbers of those people you are closest to. You’d probably start with the Family category, so you’d write Mom, Dad, your siblings, your aunts and uncles and your cousins. Do this for all 4 columns.

Once you finish that, you’ll need to pick out 1 or 2 of the very best products that you company has. The ones that you use yourself. The ones that you can give out samples. If you can’t find a product that fits this description, I’d suggest switching companies. Find a company that has a few of these fantastic products and sign up.


An example


Let’s just say that your company’s best product is laundry detergent. Buy a few boxes of it and break it down into sample packages. Do not put it into a plastic bag! Find a nice, small gift box and use that. Also, attach a card that has the instructions on how to use the product and add your name at the bottom. This isn’t just a sample, it is a gift! You want the recipient to value it and use it. Give them enough laundry detergent to do several loads of wash and tell them to try it out and see what they think. You will be coming back to get their opinion.


When you give them the sample, you want to do so with all of the excitement and enthusiasm that you can muster. You want them to become as excited about using that product as you are. This is when you are going to “sell” the benefits of the laundry detergent. You might say …


“Oh my gosh! I just tried this new laundry detergent and it’s fantastic. It’s amazing. Everything got so much cleaner and smelled so fresh. It’s the best detergent I’ve ever used. You only have to use half as much as that other detergent. You have to try this! You’re not going to believe it. Here … I brought you a gift.” Hand them the box and tell them that it is a sample for them to try. You need to present this as a gift. This will help ensure that they use the product. Continue by saying, “I can’t wait to see how much you like it!”


If you are excited about it, there is definitely a higher chance that they, too, will be excited about it. This is how you are going to “sell them on the product.” Now you need to set up a follow up visit to find out how much they liked the product. Pick an exact date to come back. Give them a reminder call the night before you are coming back. There is a chance that they will cancel your appointment. That’s okay. While you have them on the phone, ask them how much they liked the product. Get their opinion right then. Otherwise, you’ll be chasing them forever. At least you’ll now if you have a chance at the sale or not. No sense wasting your time. You can always talk to them about it the next time you run into them.

If they do keep the appointment, then you have an excellent chance of making the sale.


I’d like to see you get through your entire list in the next 90 days, but if not, at least get to 90 of them. You could get anywhere from 10-25 customers from your list, depending on how many names you have on it and how well you present the products.


Depending on how much profit you make per sale, you could be making as much as $500.00 per month. That is probably enough money to keep most network marketers from being frustrated. It will also keep you “in the game” long enough to begin to find some people to actually sign up with you!


This strategy should get your business into profit and if you are doing that, then you are making more money than that 97%!


In closing …


If you are just not that excited about your company’s products, then I would suggest that you find a company with products that you can get excited about!


If you are unwilling to do even this much work, then you might as well quit today and save yourself a lot of time, money and frustration!


I’m just giving you the bare knuckle truth!
