Network Marketing Training
This is the final part of a 4 part series. In the previous 3 articles I’ve talked a lot about tracking all of your business activities. That doesn’t mean you write down how many paperclips you have in your desk. I’m talking about the activities related to related to advertising, marketing and recruiting.
Recruiting is, after all, the key objective in network marketing.
You need to track what kind of ads you run. Where they are running. How much money each ad cost to run. How many responses you get. The number of appointments you set. The number of prospects who show up for the appointments. The number of people who you follow up with and how many of them join your business.
It is a lot of information to keep track of. If you are willing to do it, it will help you in the short term, as well as the long term. If you find that something is not working as well as you think it should, then you will see this reflected in the numbers. If you set a lot of appointments but, only a small percentage show up, then you know that there is a problem with the way you set appointments. You may find that you don’t confirm and reconfirm, the meetings with your prospects. Or it may be the way you set the appointments, the words you use.
Once you find out where you are lacking in the process, you can find new and different ways of doing things that will improve your numbers.
MLM training – tracking your results
The bottom line is this, track everything!
In article number 3, I talked about qualifying questions. Basically, a qualifying question is one that helps you to filter through people quickly and easily. You are qualifying your prospects for your time. You only get 1440 minutes in each day. They are all important. You only want to give your time to people who qualify for it.
Now for the your homework.
If I called it MLM training, would you be more likely to do it?
MLM training – qualifying your prospects
In the first 2 weeks of this MLM training, I have asked you to talk to 2 people per day. In this conversation, you were asked to find out what pain and problems they have. Then start a Rolodex with names and any form of contact information you might get, along with their particular pain or problem. That’s all.
In the next 2 weeks, you were asked to talk to 2 new and different people per day. In this conversation, I asked you to not only find out their pains and problems but, you needed to mention that you are in a business. You had to mention the business by name. You didn’t have to try to recruit anyone.
Now, in the next 2 weeks, I’d like you to try to refine things a bit. Each evening, I want you to write out a different approach for starting a conversation and for mentioning your business. What we are trying to do is to find an easy, effective and comfortable way for you to talk to people about your opportunity.
I might say, “Are you interested in making some extra money each month?”
You may think that I’m crazy for being so forward. You might think that you could and would never ask something like that of a stranger, or a friend for that matter.
MLM training – scripts
You need to think up ways of talking to people, that work for you. Once you come up with something that works for you, that is, gives you good results and is something that you can be comfortable with, I want you to stick with that. That will be your “qualifying script.” You’ll use this until it doesn’t work anymore.
Keep in mind that every situation is different and you may need to adjust what you say on the fly. For the most part, your standard script should serve very well.
To sum things up, you are going to be practicing talking to people over the course of 4-6 weeks. In these conversations you will be learning the pains and problems that they have. You will want to qualify your prospects for your time. You will be working toward a “standard script,” that you will use in most situations.
At every step, you will be tracking your results!
Once you get to this stage of your MLM training, you will be well on your way to reaching the top levels of your company.
It’s all about having a method, a process that you move people through. You will be moving them through your sales funnel to get them to the desired result.
I strive to give you the very best in free MLM training. I hope that you are finding the training useful in your business!
