Network marketing costs too much!

Or I can’t afford network marketing

network marketing costs money

These are popular objections. It’s a decent objection. If you don’t have the money, you probably shouldn’t be investing in a business of your own. However, the low cost of entry usually shoots a hole is this objection. Some network marketing companies allow people to sign up for free. If someone’s objection is money, that kind of takes care of that. Most companies are charging about $300.00 to get involved with them. That’s not a lot of money, but I’m sure that there are people who really can’t afford it. Or if they have the money, it could be their last $300.00. In that case, they probably don’t need to be spending it on a network marketing business.

I remember, back in the day, asking the question, “Why does this cost money? Why should I have to pay to have a job?” I was much younger then! As I got older, I realized that I didn’t buy a job. I bought the right to sell the company’s products and recruit others into the business. It was a business opportunity. I say opportunity because when you sign up and pay your money, you don’t really have a business. You don’t really have a business until you have customers of your own or until you have recruited someone into the company.

For many people, network marketing is supposed to be a way to make money. They don’t really see it as a business and if they do see it as business, they don’t really know what that means. They are used to doing some work and then having someone write a check to pay them for that work.

Getting paid in a business or on a job is dependent on you generating money to be paid with. You don’t have to be the actually person who generates the money, in order to get paid, on a job. You could be the person who was hired to clean the building for the company that generates the money. You didn’t actually generate the money to get paid with, but you supported those people who did.

In a business that you own, it works the same way. Except you have to be the one who generates the income in order to get paid. In network marketing, you can indirectly generate the money by recruiting people in to the business and having them generate money. Other than that, you’re going to have sell some stuff, to get paid. It doesn’t matter how hard or how much you work, if you don’t generate money, you don’t get paid.

you dont get paid in network marketing until you sell things

Another thing that I have noticed about the network marketing business is that a lot of people get started in their own business, but they have no way of finding customers to sell to. They don’t have a lot of extra money to spend on advertising to help find people. The company recommends that all distributors start by trying to sell to their warm markets.

If you do this the right way, it’s not a terrible idea. If you do it the wrong way, you’ll probably be laughed out of the business. I don’t usually recommend starting in your warm market, because most people don’t know how to sell things to their family and friends.

The upside to starting in your warm market is that it’s free. If money is a problem, you can generate a few sales in your warm market. Hopefully, this gets the distributor into profit which will allow them to stay in the business longer. The longer they can stay in the business, the more likely they are to find success.

If the money that you are able to make, selling the products, isn’t critical to your financial survival, I’d suggest that you reinvest all of that money into your business! Use the money for marketing and advertising.

It is critical to your business’ survival that you constantly generate new leads for your opportunity and your products.

The one thing that every prospect should know is that it costs money to get involved in network marketing and it will probably take more money to run and operate that business.
